There are smooth washes of guitar a la Fennesz and Bitchin Bajas, electronic conniptions that recall Sun Araw’s live work, with injections of lo-fi electronica that Caylet explores in his other project, Archers By The Sea. The entire album is a strong effort: a solar system of smooth synth melodies held together by an asteroid belt of 808s and tropical rhythms.
