From Ex-Lungfish bassist Nathan Bell’s Colors album on the Lancashire And Somerset label which also released the latest Enablers album.

“The title “Colors” brought to my mind the theories of free jazz bassist William Parker about his tone world – specific colored areas of the mind that the musician reaches while improvising.  Gurdjieff also elaborated a system where specific colors were related to emotions, field of study and days of the week.  I would have taken off the “s” in the title because this is not a colorful record.  It is deep, rooted in a specific range of emotions experienced by seekers of truth.  Just as a painter, Nathan Bell managed to create a diversified work of art using the full spectrum a specific color.” Foxy Digitalis
