Arto Mwambe in Istanbul
This weekend we’ll be hosting Phillip Lauer & CB Funk collectively known with their African persona Arto Mwambe. Last year’s Resident Advisor set was amazing, tune in if you haven’t caught it already back then, and if you’re around Istanbul, make sure you drop by minimuzikhol, tonight or tomorrow.
FACT : 20 best Acid house
Ed DMX, sole member of Rephlex’s electro giant DMX Krew selects 20 of the best Acid House tunes for FACT Magazine. He’s such a knowledgeable guy when it comes to remembering dates, events and people; reading Acid House history from him is like listening to a WW2 veteran or something.

Styro2000 & Bang Goes
Swiss techno merchants Styro2000 and Bang Goes are two of the best kept secrets of the minimal techno underground. I remember seeing their live show in Istanbul a few years ago, in front of a huge desk with godknows how many analogue devices, creating this mindblowing raw improvised techno with no computers in sight.
Uwan selects.
Now that the winter seems to retreat and a faux air of spring has already arrived in Istanbul, it’s becoming hard to play anything other than spring music in the radioshows. I’m pretty sure though, the weather’s still messed up all around the world, so there’s a whole bunch of you who’ll love this odd mix of short soundclips and textures & nervous electronic pieces.
O.M.F.O
We had Senor Coconut in Istanbul 2 weeks ago and there was this guy playing after him, called O.M.F.O.. I first thought his name was Orko, then a few variations like OMFUG etc. quickly followed. But the real OMFG moment was when he began to play.
