Had a stroll through last.fm yesterday, the recommendation engine has really been perfected. You can turn on an artist radio and listen to highly relevant music for a long time (changed channels frequently so I don’t know for how long). Undomondo is going on a vacation for a week to the place you see above! We might have the time/connection to make some new entries or we might have no activity here, either way we’ll be around soon with reviews of Nomo, Marc Ribot’s new Ceramic Dog album, new releases from the Book of Angels series on Tzadik, as well as stuff from Sawako, Erik Levander, con_cetta and more…

The collaboration between Kapotte Muziek & Goem’s Frans de Waard with fellow dutchman Freek Kinkelaar, Beequeen is a very prolific duo, with over 40 releases since their inception in 1989.

Another standard bearing netlabel is 12 Records. Specializing in ambient and folktronica they’re close to achieving the milestone 50th release. On No. 46 they have the Austrian David Schweighart and on No. 47 they have Muhr whose Miasmah release is still doing chores on my playlists. Here’s what the label has to say about both releases.

I’ve been neglecting the netlabel scene for some time and release news have been filling my mailbox. I don’t think I’ll be able to check most out, but I never fail to check my fave netlabel WM Recordings!. Here’s some newcomers from WM and a few other pointers.

* Seige : Dope soulful hiphop beats.
