Another exciting release from our favourite Norwegian contemporaries Rune Grammofon sees an incredible roster of improvisers get together for a special project. Curated by writer and film-maker Philip Mullarkey to record and play live as part of an art/film project entitled [Box] the quartet includes none other than Trevor Dunn of Fantômas & Electric Masada

Elsie is a label project, between musicians friends, to represent our differences and experiences, to help and support eachother… friendly, to share materials and time, to create sounds, to organise some events”. A small label, not even a proper label I suppose much more a project, it’s highly avantgarde and experimental but accessible.

I can’t stop thinking #6 – Thought provoking web-comic on pirating, copyright and music industry.. We’re going into a new era and we should really start thinking about some alternative economical models.
