Remember the time when you were a kid and your attention span was 4 seconds. You’d chase one stimulus after the other with utter amazement. Now, you can go back to that instance and remember what kind of music was accompanying your adventures! The lovable Ben Jacobs aka Max Tundra has got his third one six years after his amazing sophomore “Mastered By Guy At The Exchange“.

Most of the time, press text of albums are full of cliches and unneeded banter about the past accomplishments of the band with vague words and praise. Here I was today trying to write a short intro to A&E’s new album Oi! released on the avantelectronic label Sonig.

For all you guys & gals who aren’t in the know, Deerhoof is playing today in Istanbul courtesy of Bant Magazine. I don’t know if it means something for you but they’re currently #1 on my last.fm after 2 years and more than 60.000 listens overall and I still think that they’re one of the best bands I’ve ever listened and I’m actually excited about a show.

I’ve been neglecting the netlabel scene for some time and release news have been filling my mailbox. I don’t think I’ll be able to check most out, but I never fail to check my fave netlabel WM Recordings!. Here’s some newcomers from WM and a few other pointers.

* Seige : Dope soulful hiphop beats.
