Springtime in Istanbul & the undomondo crew is taking a trip to Kinaliada in the Princes Islands Cluster near Istanbul for BBQ and Raki. We’re not going to swim in a pool, but Holger Czukay’s Cool in the Pool seems to be the best possible soundtrack to this trip.

Getting its name from the Khazak city of Baikonour which hosts a shuttle launching station is a giveaway for the spacy vibes of Brighton based Jean-Emmanuel Krieger. His second LP on Melodic Records, Your Ear Knows Future is a culmination of different styles such as the distorted shoegazing guitars, spacy FX and electronic bleeps with valid comparisons to Air and Trans Am.
