Tsukimono
“Gloomy Sunday,” tells the tale of a person in mourning who is contemplating suicide. Due to numerous anecdotal stories of people listening to the song and launching themselves from rooftops, the BBC banned the tune, which eventually became known as “The Hungarian Suicide Song.”

Future Recordings
Labels that use bandcamp for distribution are automatically a winner in our eyes and deserve more attention. California’s Future Recordings is one of those labels, which focus on dreamy post-rock, instrumental soundscapes a la Sylvian Chaveau & Johann Johannson & ambient/drone.
When Tides Collide

Grails – Doomsdayer’s Holiday
One of the most frequented bands here on undomondo is Portland rockers Grails. Somehow they manage to more than one release each year and we feel like you wanna hear all about them, because they deserve it.
IZ
Colorado’s IZ, formed by guitarist Michael Serviolo is a power trio, with bassist Tom Sublet and drummer David Kerman. Their 2006 album E-M remained below the radar somehow but I think it’s worth a few listens, if you’re into experimental heavy stuff. Progressive riffs, timechanges, abrupt stops and noise is abound on E-M released by the experimental household RERUSA.
