I’ve processed some of the best of lists in my bookmarks folder. Here are some of the more interesting and/or diverse ones. I’m trying to wrap up my own list, but damn these lists always give you lots to catch up.

Continuing to revive some posts from the archives, especially from the bestof category which gets frequented a lot, now that the end of year season is upon us.

Collapsitarians
The idea of progress has been slowly dying. No one wants to live in the future. No finds the Future attractive any longer. The only thing left to believe in is collapse. That’s not boring! The end of civilization would be terribly exciting, and unlike any future we could imagine, probably more likely. We all are collapsitarians these days.

We’ve always been late late in dealing with the passing year; but this time we’re way into the new one. God only knows what next year will bring but knowing that lots of readers are still hunting good albums from 2008 here’s one final post about 2008 with a cream of the crop selection and we go straight to 2009! Promise!
