Festival Villette Sonique
Villette Sonique festival in Paris this year will be eccentric, noisy, unhinged but also melodious, charming, classy and of course, sonic. The festival takes its name from Parc de la Villette the iconoclastic park project done by master architect Bernard Tschumi with theoretical supplement from Jacques Derrida and it will take place next weekend.
SXSW!
Well, the hipster festival SXSW has begun. The rise of SXSW from a relatively unknown festival (at least for me) 2 years ago and becoming a huge worldwide acknowledged event in 2 years is pretty interesting. There’s probably lots of blogs attending & covering SXSW, but you know I’m not really into most of the hipster college indie rock stuff.
