easy listening
Undomondo Radio Show #83
Special Christmas themed radio show thanks to error101 who’s been absent for some time, supported by a few pieces from Can and me. Going to air tomorrow on Dinamo 103.8, but couldn’t wait one more night, as it’s late anyway. A true family work! Happy Holidays everyone hope you enjoy it.
Undomondo Radio Show #81
One of our best shows, music that is too precious to be forgotten. A seamless blend of exotic jungle rhythms, easy listening, jazz, space pop, burlesque, japanese music from hawaii.
Undomondo Radio Show #79
The in-house gag about this show was that we were ready to work at the BRT (a fictional state owned radio station from Brasil that resembles our TRT) simply because it never wanders off brasileira & exotica, albeit a few breathers of downtempo jazz from Cecil Taylor and Marc Copland. Play this on sunny afternoons.
Dave Pike – Baby
Just to mark this point in time, in which I’m feeling quite relaxed with the sun shining on my balcony and I have a peace of mind, and it feels great. Off Dave Pike’s Manhattan Latin album
Bright Size Life
Bright and cheerful selection inspired by bright blue skies and white fluffy clouds. We have tracks from Christian Prommer, Nomo, Pat Metheny, Chaz Jankel and Horst Jankowski! Come inside!
Undomondo Radio Show #75
#75 was mostly dug by Can with me contributing my mixing (more like ableton live) skills. That’s why his dandy style noticably takes over, as this is one fine 1 hour mix, for which you are obliged to be in your bathrobes or robe de chambres, comfortably sipping some brandy. This mix goes through easy listening, jazz, exotica and vintage surf, it definitely feels retro but not kitsch (i hope).
Undomondo Radioshow #73
After two weeks of absence, we’re back with #73 of our shows, once again done in partnership with Can Ayverdi. There’s an abundance of soulful and jazzy beats, a bit of psych folk at the beginning and some easy tempo and brasiliera at the end. Playlist inside! Have a nice week!
Undomondo Radio Show #69
#69 starts with a solemn piece from the German doomjazzers Bohren und der Club of Gore then goes right into some easy tempo and nujazz, followed by dub from Burning Spear, hip-hop & some cosmic non-Fela afrobeat from Hector Malcoun and Peruvian chicha by Juaneco.
