DJ Ismet Roots Dub Mix
Here’s an exquisite mix from one of Istanbul’s earliest beat diggers a musical teacher and soul brother DJ Ismet whom we lost in 2005. He was a close friend and a collaborator of Baris K. and this special mixtape from 2001 was digitized by Baris himself. 80 minutes of roots reggae, jamaican soul and dub. R.I.P Ismet.

Don’t miss : First 2 Months
The commencement of 2009 was barely worthwhile with a few 4 star LPs and slight disappointments from trusted artists. Here’s a quick recap of what to come in March and a best of selection of the first two months.
5 Star Monday 3
We went on a short vacation in the countryside this weekend, here’s 5 of the tunes that stuck most in my mind during hours of idle car time. The Bamboos cover Kings of Leon, Dom um Romao track found on Donnaslut. More Congos.

#65 is a joint production of me and error101, it was aired a few weeks ago but I’ve failed to upload it since then. Unfortunately I don’t have the tracklist with me right now, I’ll add it later on today, it’s our usual formula of dub, roots music, beat and hiphop but error101 was m.i.a for some time so make sure you check it out.
Lost Transmissions Of The Ill Saint
For this month Cenk Akyol’s skipped Classical & Modern and brewed a spooky mixture of abstract beats & hiphop with a pinch of dub and illbient.
