Summer Soul Intro P1: Eric Lau
This week we’ll be covering all the neosoul/jazzy hiphop stuff coming out mostly from the UK and of course the US (Stones Throw!) It’s def going to be the sound of this summer and might we say flutes are making a comeback!.
Trus’me
One of the albums that didn’t get as much attention as it deserved last year was “Working Nights” by Trus’me. Released in November 2007 by Manchester based producer David James Wolstencroft who has already garnered attention with his previous 12″s on LFM,”Working Nights” is a versatile cosmic dance album with roots in disco and soul, but also caters to the house (especially deep UK house) loving crowd as well.
