For some reason even though undomondo readership has been fairly stagnant (about 10K people a month if you wonder) somehow the amount of PR material we get has increased exponentially. These are the songs that has trickled down through over 200 emails we got last month.

* Well known avantgarde jazz guitarist Marc Ribot and other musicians were protesting the closing of world famous experimental / indie / avantgarde music venue Tonic, NYC by showing up for an improvised concert while the workers dismantled the stage!
Cyro Baptista & Love the Donkey
Another day another Tzadik release, this time by the eccentric percussion guru Cyro Baptista. I’ve known him from the Electric Masada ensemble and also I’ve listened to his track Matan on the wonderful Dichotomy of Epiphany mp3blog a few months ago.
Trio Romano Sclavis Texier
Continuing the jazz vibe on undomondo, I’ve decided to choose this French trio’s last album for a quick review. Aldo Romano, Louis Sclavis and Henri Texier are 3 major French contemporary jazz figures, and this album is the final chapter of the African journey that started 10 years ago.
