Mega Clearance
Been amassing reviews / interviews and stuff I couldn’t tend to, it’s stressing me up, so I decided to make a quick mega clearance post, take what you want! Pointers to Interviews / Reviews galore Polvo, Jim O’ Rourke, Luke Vibert, Beat Electric classic 80’s house, L’usine, Dave Douglas, Sublime Frequencies and even more!!
Waiting
Too busy with real life stuff at the mo, but been listening to music all day, this is just a quick recap of what kept me movin’ and shakin’ during the day. Stuff from Nomo, Carlos Lamartine, Baden Powell, The Light of Saba and A Tribe Called Quest.
Blending Days
Was archive digging last sunday and it’s such a shame that house tracks live only as tracks for a short period of time, there are some good stuff that shouldn’t go to house hell so easily. That Persuader track from Svek for example or Chicago Music System’s classic Work It. Might be digging more in the future.
Gambetta
Three of the best dubstep tunes I’ve heard recently, from Ramadanman aka Pearson Sound, 2562 and Scottish troupe Mungos Hifi.
Waxolutionists
As promised yesterday, the last post that sums up our jazzy hip-hop tendencies for the time being. With material from Viennese trio Waxolutionists, new material from Sa-Ra’s Shafiq Husayn, and new single from Illa J, brother of late J Dilla.
Five Star Monday 10
Once again a selection from the hazy lo-fi punk/psychedelic/noise stuff that’s bombarding our players. Stuff from OCS, Blues Control, Blessure Grave, Ty Segall and Graffiti Island.
