Patchworks aka Bruno Hovart, the prolific French producer, who’s given us the Metropolitan Jazz Affair and The Dynamics among others, issues a new mix right in time for the debut LP of his new alias, the Uptown Funk Empire.

Uptown Funk Empire is an exciting and ambitious project, worthy of its name. While the first album is simply called “The Empire Strikes back”, it’s no joke… Forget the whole revival thing, this sounds like an actual rebirth of the real funky stuff.

Agree with it 100%, “The Empire Strikes Back” is as good as it gets in building on to the 70s funk & soul legacy. I’m sure you’ll start craving for the LP, so make sure you click the link after checking out the mix!
