+ The Black Dog presents a sophisticated ambient electronica set with Intrusion, Robin Rimbaud (aka Scanner), Stars of the Lid & Terry Riley. (tracklist & download)

+ Cosmopolyphonic mix by Onur Engin, who’s also responsible for the Turkish Jazz Mix a few weeks ago.

Cosmopolyphonic Radio Guest Mix by Onur Engin

+ We’ve found another person who loves Piero Umiliani as much as us, Brian Gossett has done two mixes from Umiliani songs and takes you to sightseeing in Toscany and Lake Como.

Tuscany, one of the most beautiful places I have visited, reeks of richly textured walls, exotic wild game cuisine, and some of the best gelato you can ever imagine. Many of the cities maintain their medieval charm and nearly all of them have museums dedicated to torture. All darkness aside, it could be a great setting for a caper flick. It could be to steal one of the most treasured vintages of Amarone. It could be to lift the coveted real David in Firenze. Whatever it may be, it will most certainly have the most lush landscape wide shots and charming cobblestone streets from Siena to San Gimignano.
