We’ve never been fans of crunk, reggaeton or dancehall, but two remixes hit our mailbox last night that challenged our tastes.

First one came from our Exponential Records friend Ernesto and is Mexicans with Guns’ take on Major Lazer’s Hold the Line. Crunky ass shaking bass remix.

Second is a mambo/reggaeton remix by Ruckus Roboticus of some act called LMFAO, which I haven’t even heard of. Was going to dismiss this one but based on the description, but a sudden change of fate made me listen. I think we don’t have enough ass shakin’ in Europe to fully adore these genres, but this time let’s give it a try.
