+ Brasilian singer/songwriter Otto just saw his US debut “Certa manha acordei de sonhos intranquilos” released on NYC’s Nublu records. Janaina has an amazing guitar riff on top of lovely percussive afrobeat. Samba, electronica, soul and Brasilian folk!

+ UK label Lo Alternative Frequencies (LOAF) announces a new project featuring members of UK group The Chap (Ghostly International), called Omo. Stream the album

Bibio – All the Flowers (Seams Remix)

+ Brooklyn Based Father Figures just released a free download album of noisy psych jazz improvs called Father Finger Food. Father Figures recorded 5 hours of improvisations, over the course of 4 months onto a 4-track cassette recorder and a deteriorating 1/4″ tape machine, then selected their favorite moments, tweaked and chopped and arranged the music into 18 pieces. Recommended for fans of Sex Mob / Lounge Lizards.
