In an act of blatant irony here are two amazing tracks from the vinyl only “This LP crashes hard drives” compilation for the Independent Record Store Day 2009. Featuring releases from labels like Now-Again, Daptone, Light In The Attic, Timmion, Jazzman, Honest Jons, Finders Keepers, Sublime Frequencies. Some amazing digs here and a melting pot of brassy/psych/funky beats but I’ve chosen the big band fury of Bada Que Bash and the amazing Indian beat of “I am very sorry” by Noor Jehan.
