Future Recordings

Labels that use bandcamp for distribution are automatically a winner in our eyes and deserve more attention. California’s Future Recordings is one of those labels, which focus on dreamy post-rock, instrumental soundscapes a la Sylvian Chaveau & Johann Johannson & ambient/drone.

Found them out while checking We All Inherit the Moon on myspace and bandcamp offered me an easy way to check all of the labels output. These lovely fellas sell their albums for 5$, tracks for $1 (both 320K) but if you’re broke and you want to listen to it, you can download 128K versions for free or stream. The future of music business? We’ll see, in the meantime artists if you happen to read these lines, go and join bandcamp now, it really is the best.
