After two weeks of absence, we’re back with #73 of our shows, once again done in partnership with Can Ayverdi. The psychedelic folky opener is off Hannu’s latest Harhailua, and there’s also a Monsters at Work track off the fantastic Monsterism compilation by Pete Fowler which I hope to digest this week. The mid section has some great moments like the transition from Exile’s Love Line to Kenny Dorham’s My Ideal and then to Martin Denny’s unidentified piece (can anyone identify it?) . There’s an abundance of soulful and jazzy beats here, and after the last break #73 ends with some easy tempo and brasiliera. Have a nice week!
