The online revolution has led many indie networks to create their own TV networks, it’s a shame I’ve barely heard of the XLR8R TV, after I subscribed to their twitter. One of their coolest, the Tune in an Afternoon series get artists to create, yes you guessed it right, a tune in an afternoon. The series debuts with Anticon artists and electronica heads Odd Nosdam and Jel go to a thrift shop, buy some vinyls, sample them and create a tune. The video goes through the creative process, while the product is down to download.
