Listening to Radio fills us both with envy and satisfaction at the same time. LA based producer Exile who’s previously made beats for Mobb Deep, Jurassic 5, Akon and Snoop Dogg among others and collaborated with Blu on 2007’s Below the Heavens and Aloe Blacc under the name Emanon, has recently released his debut solo album, which is an instrumental hip-hop album, with all kinds of jazzy chords and syncopated percussions, that he ornaments with spoken sample snippets and vocals off the radio (hence the title).
His finesse in making it work will make you wonder how on earth did everything get together so effortlessly. That’s what makes us blue with envy!. His technique. This is hot shit now and it’s a good way to show those no talent major label corporate pricks that the people still buy stuff when it’s actually good plus the guy’s rumoured to be broke now!! For fans of Flying Lotus.
The uneducated rapper, I’m on the one cos I can’t go to two!

Freshselects has a stream of Exile’s Stay Tuned (Stay Here) which originally has vocals coming sampled off the radio, sung by Muhsinah.
Discoballbreaker has another tune, which has we believe a Turkish/Oriental vocal snippet which we can’t pinpoint
