Lux Interior R.I.P

Sorry to read the sad news today, that Lux Interior, lead singer of psychobilly pioneers The Cramps has passed away 3 days ago. They’ve been instrumental in creating the psychobilly subgenre, by fusing rockabilly with B-Movie Horror flicks, garage rock and lots of raw creative energy. Here are 2 songs from their essential “Songs the Lord taught Us” album, the first one a cover of the original R&B hit Fever.

  • May he give them all a shake-up wherever it is he ended up
  • I'm a long from being an expertson the Cramps (or garage/punk) but I've always had fun listening to them whenever they crossed my path. Sorry to hear of his passing...probably would make him happy to know he's still entertaining. Music Junkie@ Fusion 45
