Never bought the Hot Chip hype till today, but this remix of a track by two masters, Soft Machine’s Robert Wyatt and well known French composer Bertrand Burgalat has dropped our hypeguard.

According to Pitchfork, this one is a rework with off the same track from Burgalat’s 2007 album. As if the airy 70’s French pop vibes and the heavenly chorus of the original wasn’t enough, Hot Chip went and took it to an arena level of feel good transforming the song into an early club anthem for 2009. Kudos.
