  • This second release from the Mad Bros label (based in Paris) is a compilation of collection cutting-room gems and collaborations made through 2008.

Twelve tracks completely different from one to another, combining into this melodic mix of styles.
There's no high-fallutin' concept or pretentious theme - "it's just sound, so let it be."

    PLAYLIST :

    1-TRACK ONE DAY ONE
Written produced and mixed by Luis Davis
    Additional arrangements by Mauricio Fleury
The kind of Disco Dub track you want to listen in the morning. Harmonies and bass to get you going, thinking or drinking.

    2-TODAY I’M SLOW
Written produced and mixed by Turbo Rexxxa
Turbo Rexxxa delivers a slow version of his groove, that feels like an aquatic and dreamy kind of day.

    3-SHOW YOU LOVE
Written produced and mixed by Baris K
After being released on RBMA Various Assets Compilation, Baris reworked his track until he was finally satisfied with all the details that make him a very dedicated producer.

    4- HYPE CLOUDS
Written and arranged by Luis Davis and Ben Lamar
Produced and mixed by Luis Davis
Two ex participants of RBMA meet in Paris during the fashion week for some studio Jam. The result is a vocal hip hop flavor, that says it all about how they both see the world.

    5- BLACK BRAZILIAN MUSIC
Written and arranged by Luis Davis and Mauricio Fleury
Produced and mixed by Luis Davis
This cover is based on disco cheesy groove called “Les Musiques Noires”. Sweet notes bring back the old school vibe that inspires us.

    6-FRENCH LESSON
Written produced and mixed by Luis Davis, Vocals by Hikari Suzuki
    Additional arrangements by Mauricio Fleury
The crystal voice of Hikari melts with the deep bass of Luis Davis for a sexy 6 minute flirt.

    7-HOT TOPIC
Written produced and mixed by Miss Cmy
Swedish Mad sista Miss Cmy simply delivers a hot track. Her experience of DJ might have influenced her (or not…) this song really has the minimum number of sounds, but they fill the space pretty good.

    8-LIVE SESSION
Produced and mixed by Jacob Korn, Keys by Luis Davis
Back then at the Redbull Academy, Luis Davis came into a room where several machines and keyboards were being sequenced and synchronized into Jacob’s computer. The Arpeggio of the Juno 60 seemed evident with a 5 key chord up and down. One year after being recorded, here is the final mix.

    9-UNION HALL
Originally produced by Juba Dance Vocals by Ben Lamar
Remix produced and mixed by Turbo Rexxxa
This song is the mix of two eclectic personalities both looking to express something different; two persons separated by 6000 miles have the will to share talents and ideas.

    10-TYRANOREXXXA
Written produced and mixed by Turbo Rexxxa
    Wait, what is this ?
It’s fucking noise bro, and it’s going to get your ass up and down !!!!
Prehistoric grooves and harmonies for a wall of Tyranorexxxas running at you.
Definitely the strongest shit of the year. Run mofo run.

    11-CIEGO
Written produced and mixed by Luis Davis
Come into the room; now close your eyes; now dance to Bass, Kick Drum and Clap.
For the flour for sure, a bit acid and based on 808 and 909 sounds, this futuristic cut was made to get you flying.

    12-THE BREAK
Written produced and mixed by Luis Davis
Complicated conversions and contradictional ideas combine into a 14-minute conclusion
Deep and nervous, smooth and bassy.
