While checking Julie’s tracklist from the previous Free Kitten post, I noticed “When the Levee Breaks” by Led Zeppelin. While no one can say Zeppelin’s cover isn’t top notch, I think I might have found a better version. Tuvan throat singer & guitarist Albert Kuvezin’s cover with his Yat-Kha project. Off 2005’s Re-covers album. Sounds a bit like Ali Farka Toure, no?
