Here’s a nifty lil album from the Japanese Powershovel Audio, which we have featured before with Asuna and I guess I have mentioned Sasaki San before. Contrary to those two, Private School is not an electronica project but it’s a lo-fi hiphop trio with similar Powershovel aesthetic. Touches of 90’s triphop, raw and sparse beats, simple synth melodies and rapping on top! Which reminded me that I should check out PSA’s new release by Raphael Sebbag.
