We’re quite stoked for the next Friday as we’re preparing for a huge event in Istanbul focused on te spooky instrument that is “theremin“. Starting with a biopic focusing on Leon Theremin’s life, meeting one of the foremost Theremin artists in the world right now, the classically trained Pamelia Kurstin who released an album on Tzadik last year. Performances by authentic Turkish acts, Baba Zula and Dinar Bandosu and partying the rest of the night with NY’s nudisco prince Daniel Wang and our local hero Barış K. It’s almost like a complete culture trip without leaving the comfort of your hometown!.
