Loading ...First “Everything under the Sun” by Nostalgia 77 and now the “Weapons Of Jazz Destruction” by the Nostalgia 77 Octet! Benedic Lamdin seems to be a never-stopper. 2 extraordinary albums in a year!! That really is not the correct way to do things in the music industry is it? You had to make an album with a few good songs and eat off it for years, get into some scandals and stuff, but no, they didn’t choose the tried and tested but produced 2 utterly fantastic albums in a row!.
Now everyone’s going to demand the same success from them. Joke aside, I’m pretty sure Mr. Lamdin will easily handle the success. Not because of the music mind you, but because of the aphorism on the official site : “The official home of beatnik jazz on the interweb and your one stop swap shop for cosmic swinging music, nostalgic gossip, amateur philosophy and bad jokes.”
Now, if you make music as cool as these guys and you don’t give a shit about your ego, you get a cookie and get sent to heaven, everybody knows this!
PS: Watched them live in Istanbul btw, and they’re storming live as well!
