* Stream songs from the Slovenian Dutch world music troupe called The Fool Cool Orchestra. Fresh!

* BBC Collective covers dubstep genre with a mini documentary about its roots and influences featuring some tunes from Skream, Loefah, Kode9. There’s a wealth of tunes to search for in the comments as well.

* Mekanik Destrüktiw Komandöh at Crud Crud. “Named after the great Magma album of the same name, MDK musically resembles their namesake very little. Instead of the prog com krautrock cum hippie art jam that Magma is, MDK taps into the Rough Trade/post punk of their time (admittedly with a tad of krautrock).”

* Newsoundland community to go beta within a few weeks. Shift Happens!

* Sometime ago I got contacted by the MXPLAY guys, which is a plugin that allows easy streaming of music found on the web. MXPLAY auto-detects MP3s available on any web page and let’s you create playlists and stuff for sharing with your friends. It might be a helpful tool for checking out other mp3blogs so I’m giving it a shot.
