Feist @ Varsity Theater by Eric Price

Alright there’s no single person that hasn’t listened to Leslie Feist’s latest album “The Reminder” since it’s been very popular on mp3blogs (yet received mixed reviews). I’m generally reluctant to listen to hyped stuff but listening to “The Reminder” has been a good choice. Feist’s sophisticated pop borrows from jazz & country & folk in her own special way and there’s been some tunes here like the traditional “Sea Lion Woman” which has struck me at first listen, that’s when I stop analyzing and start acting intuitive.
