2 Minimal Techno dancefloor burners

One might remember 2001’s as the peak for quality minimal music, one of the main actors for it was Playhouse/Ongaku/Klang under Roman Flügel’s guidance. A golden EP reminiscent of those days has been released on Klang by Radical Majik and boy is it good. Appropriately labeled micro-trance by Boomkat because of the melodies in a sort of trancy way, somewhat resembling Ame among many others. Although I totally hate commercial trance, this is a massive track and worth noting.
Another less-noted influence back in the day was Switzerland’s Brüchstücke label with a quality before quantity approach and a small roster. One of the biggest players has beenStyro 2000 alongside Bang Goes. If you’ve been to one of their analogue live shows, you’d see what I’m talking about. Here’s a new release from Styro 2000 on Kahlwild sister label to Tobias Becker’s Platzhirsch.
