Dirty Diggers

I’m not really knowledgeable about nuschool UK hiphop (or oldschool for that matter) but I’ve listened to a few artists like Braintax and I know that UK hiphop is down to earth and fun unlike the USA gangsta rap which only talks about killing people and showing the world how rich and cool they are.
UK’s Dirty Diggers (Young Max and Pat Stash) talk about daily life, can naturally drop the F or the C bomb, surprisingly “not while trying to diss other MCs”, make fun of themselves and other stuff, their beats are jazzy a la Madlib etc. they can find some lovely melodies as witnessed on “Wannabes” and their song “U.V” actually ends like “leave work early / get out to the pubs / have a fuckin’ good time you miserable fuckin’ bastards. Words to live by.
“The Pleasure is all Mine” is out on UK’s Zebra Traffic and also features artists like Nostalgia 77 (which will most surely make an appearance here soon) & Alice Russell from their parent label Tru Thoughts also home to Quantic.
