Well I’m back at the helm for the latest installment of our chaotic radio show, this time with somehow a more dubby vibe. You can either get it from the archive.org page (if you’d like to listen as stream or download ogg or at a different quality) or download directly from below.

We have some moog covers by Jean-Jacques Perrey and later on The Moog Cookbook, cheerful Brasilian vibes from Nublu’s Forro in the Dark (which I’ll be featuring very soon), an interesting break where I played my favourite song from Terre Thaemlitz’ Lovebomb, which features the African National Congress’ declaration of war against the Apartheid regime played on top of The Plants’ textures and Krepulec’s martial piece. From then on we have a party vibe going with some urban hiphop/2step followed by dub and more dub, the last two tracks are special, the first is by Baba Zula one of the prominent turkish bands that you’ve got to know if you like dub, and the closer is a gem I found on a compilation called Zanzibara 2 (1965-1975 Golden years of Mombasa Taarab).
