Undomondo Radio Show #3

Lest we keep up with the radio show on the net with #3 of our weekly installments. It’s now on Archive.org for everyone to enjoy, I’ve also added tracklist to #2, so if that’s been holding you down from downloading, now it’s time to download. I’m still trying to recover from last nights Messer Chups event, which was good but knowing older and better surf acts like my all time faves Man or Astroman? Messer Chups somehow felt like a watered down Russian version of the iconic MoA? goodness. Anyways hopefully normal postage will recover once I fix some more technical aspects of the site.

Some liner notes about this mix: The highlight of the first part for me is the eastern asian electronic sounds of O.M.F.O. which I’ve previously featured before. The mid part of the show is a little bit accoustic featuring Bonnie “Prince” Billy, who’s gonna be playing in Istanbul tomorrow and Stuart A. Staples & Dave Boulter’s children’s faerytale (kinda) song White Horses, which makes us go and bury our faces in candy floss. We pick up speed with Hella’s percussive terror on Ipecac, and once again O.M.F.O. with some electrified Eastern Turkic dance song followed by Soothsayers’ anthemic afrobeat “Blinded Souls” and end with Mc Coy Tyner & John Coltrane’s take on the traditional English folk piece “Greensleeves“.
