As the cold days are ahead, it feels like a must to listen to some ambient. Here, we have a really deep drone-ambient music here. It is one of the best albums I’ve ever heard lately. This is a debut album from Turk Dietrich and Michael Jones who together form Belong. The band started making music in 2002 in New Orleans. They use guitars, synths and some other stuff that you can expect to hear in this kind of textural music. This massive debut was released from Carpark, which is from Washington DC and has some potent names like Kid 606, Kit Clayton, Dinky, Jake Mandell, Safety Scissors and Keith Fullerton Whitman to name a few.
Well, actually there is nothin’ much i can say about the album. This always happens to me if the album is such a great one… feels like no words can describe it. I can say it is all about the feelings other than havin’ a great production and music wise content. It is great for listenin’ alone in a snowy night or at least it gives me those kinda feelings. Even the song titles like “Remove the Inside” or “I Never Lose. Never Really” may give you some ideas about how deep the music would be. I am pretty sure all the fans of Stars of the Lid or Flying Saucer Attack will love it! Badness!
