Digg clone for netlabels

* Now here’s an idea that makes me go “why haven’t I thought it before”. Here’s Britney, a Digg clone for netlabels and free music, by the wonderful people of Starfrosch. It can be an important outpost for bedroom artists, if it’s used by lots of people! That’s why I’m trying to convert a few undomondo readers to britney participators, so one day this dream might come true!.

* Another web2.0ish approach to the already present house music portals. House music Planet has tags / forum and is striving to be a portal for dj mixes, tracklist talk, party pictures and news. Check it out.

* And if you don’t care about netlabels or house music but are interested in the swedish pop and indie scenes, you should definitely read the Absolut Noise mp3blog, which is written by a Swede-obsessed French guy. I confess I have never previously heard about 90% of the bands mentioned here, apart from El Perro Del Mar, but it’s just the right reason that mp3blogs are wonderful!. Many new bands to hear like Sibiria, Lashing Patsy, Lapuma and others..

* Finally, I’d like to mention this innovative music application, Musiclens, which can give you recommendations and actually play them when you use their visual menu to give the details of the music you prefer like volume, tempo, age, mood and colour. I think Pandora and Last.FM users should definitely give it a try if only for the beautiful visualization and the different approach.
