Mort Garson

Guys let’s shake our old dusty cabinet some more. I swear this is the last oldie for some time coming, but i got to do this last one mostly because i like the music and partly because his name means “dead waiter” in Turkish:)
The saying “No job too silly to take seriously” being his motto, Mort Garson wrote many things that would make a normal person shake his/her head and say “get a life, man.” He wrote “The Wozard of Id”, a psychedelic satire with environmental sound effects and Nancy Sinatra (credited as “Suzy Jane Hokum”) as Dorothy. He wrote an electronic “Black Mass” album that probably spun at many an acid party, and followed that with one called, “Ataraxia” designed to accompany meditations to the mantra of your choice. He also wrote the album “Plantasia” that you were supposed to play to make your indoor plants grow better.
Well, here are some tunes for you and your plants from the golden age of moog.
Mort Garson - Baby’s Tears Blues
Mort Garson - Plantasia
Mort Garson - You don’t have to walk a begonia
