Old and new deep house tracks to welcome the spring!..

You got to know about Mr. Todd Terje, whose Michael Jackson re-edit I can’t help it we featured on Undomondo last year. This is an older work, but took a while to get hold of, this is a grandiose conga induced house track with a flute solo in the break and luvly vocals, can somebody gimme the original ?

Another track to mention is Jazzanova DJ Dixon’s white label reedit of Raphael Saadiq’s Chic Like You. A sexy deep house track and of course incredible vocals by Mr. Saadiq. Should be an instant hit among your lounge crowd. The b side has a Missy Elliot mashup that’s even better (well, for some people of course), unfortunately there’s nowhere to buy the record now… Used to be on Picadilly Records, one of the best record stores, for this kind of stuff..

And finally NY’s Pal Joey’s classic track Party Time. This oldschool track is so raw that I guess this should be the first track Pal Joey’s done (the time when using flanger on the master channel for 64 measures was still OK!) Just kidding house music at its best.

Don’t forget to get the other tracks as well, got no time to write about them, but they’re all handpicked !
