Here’s a few links just in time before Sunday ends. I’ve spent all day cleaning through lots of unread RSS feeds.. and the thing is whatever I do the list continues to get crowded . Guess the first resolution for this year has to be, “don’t feel sorry after you click – mark all read” : instant free time!
Insect & Individual is an mp3blog for an assortment of kraut, prog, free jazz, avant, diy punk, and uncategorizable music. Just kicked off in January 06- they have two full CD posts, Swedish freejazz from Förklädd Gud (1977) and avant weirdness from 1980 by Decayes.
Another mp3blog that I like is Expensive by Akida, featuring mostly diverse electronic music (like Maetrik, Ladybug Mecca, Flux of Pink Indians etc.. ) and some party girl images. That’s one of the best combos for a blog, right?
nwl. is a netlabels only mp3blog. recent features include Trondheim and Ditch.
Rap’s 25 greatest albums according to Chris Rock on ILX.
Soundtransit is a neat project on field recording and phonography with a good design. It’s a communal recording archive where you can take a sonic trip through the world, and you can download them as mp3! Love!
An interview with the gifted poet / MC Saul Williams. Are you generic?
