Some tracks to assist you on your journeys

A little not-so-original theme for you people who use trains/subways everyday to go to work. The first song is from B. Fleischmann, one half of the duo Flanger. This tune is off his soon to be released album titled The Humbucking Coil. You should always be sure that his albums will have a mature sound, great musicianship, and emotions. This is electronic-sentimentalism at its best. Check a review and pre-order at Boomkat.

The second song is by Ulrich Schnauss. Even the name of the album gives you hints of what’s to come.. Far away trains passing by was his debut CD (I guess) and it was cherished by the scene, I’m sure most of you have heard this one but let’s hear it once more.

If you take the subway, and you’re subway is a little creepy, I’m pretty sure you’ll be having troubles when you’re listening to this track. This is off an extremely well-composed noise album on Erstwhile. You know what I mean by well-composed don’t you ?

No drones, no resonance, no bitreduced harsh-noise, and the noise should actually make sense.. Kind of like cinematic noise ;) or should I say noise-cinematique?

Ok sorry for the rant ..
