Netlabel releases - November Part 2
Ok two more albums I’d like to mention now..The first one is by Daghoti on WM Recordings. 11 songs on this short album. What can I say about the music, It’s a strange and unique album, Daghoti has definitely let out what flew through his mind, strange time-signatures, vocal samples here and there, a breakbeat entering when you least thought of it, definitely eclectic sound collages, think about Wevie Stonder meets Stephane Obadia. Hurray for the originality.. (and what better way to show it off by these songtitles)
Download And Dude (Break we did)
Download Save that Girl (From a Lifetime of Limping)
PS: Now I see that WM stands for Weirdo Music..
Second release is by Lomov, one of the more active artists on the netlabel scene. I have listened to a few EPs from him, and although they were of decent quality, I didn’t like them enough to feature here, however this release is different. Deep minimal techno and clicks meet for some filtered dark ambience.. Reminded me of the early Jan Jelinek masterpiece, Loop-finding-Jazz-Records, this is the best Lomov release for me, yet.
