Wooooo, a nice day for blogging ! . Four new tracks featured on undomondo.
For the first time the songs are featured on a freeserver, called sendspace. I checked through many and settled on sendspace, they never delete the link as long as it gets downloads, they give you 1200mb, they have a nice upload progress bar and you don’t have to wait to download.. too good to be true!
Ok off we go with the first one.

I’m pretty sure this would end on my top 10 songs for 2005. Avant jazz at its best a la Tzadik. Okkyung Lee is a Korean cellist and composer who’s moved to Boston at age 18 to study at the Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory, she then migrated to New York in 2000 and began to play with John Zorn, Jim O’Rourke, Christian Marclay, and many others. The album produced by Zorn himself and assisted with various instrumentalists and Ikue Mori on laptops is top class, and this song has a sensational melodic structure in a complex time signature. Available on Boomkat.
Jarboe is a madwoman. She has worked in the past with the New York avantrock band Swans. This should definitely be the soundtrack for the torture session you’re gonna give your victim in a few mins.. Very unhedonistic and dark, the track “sinner” is extremely agitating with a distorted vocal, chanting “Fuck your soul”. Extreme stuff..
And last but not least, I wanna take you out of the darkness with a funny song by none other than the French electro downtempo – jazzy hiphop master Rubin Steiner. Saw him live once with his 3-piece orchestra and they are definitely a treat on stage.. This song features tens of European names in it, wanna check if you got your name in the list?
