the indie mp3blogs and indie world is full of thousands of groups, it seems everyday it’s even more hip to be indie!. Well i dug in and got these two gems out of the box, these bands were hip before it was hip to be hip (oh well!)
I don’t know if they’re still around but Burning Airlines had this cool track which got me hooked on in 2001, I had totally forgotten about it, and I remembered this with this lucky decision of posting some cool rock music. Here is “Morricone Dancehall“, which is a strange uptempo song with distorted vocals and the catchy chorus “without a body there is no crime!“, this seems to be inspired by BBC detective series, oh well!
The tie between Burning Airlines and Hey Mercedes! is interesting, the guitarist for B.A has produced Hey Mercedes! debut album. I was thinking of skipping this in case y’all may find it emoish , but whatever, a little dose of emo wouldn’t hurt..
