Ah Cama-Sotz - 30 Siecles de Sommeil

Tags: , ,

Normally, I’m not too much into dark ambient - industrial stuff as you might guess from the lack of mentions on this blog. However this song is an exception.

Ah Cama-Sotz
, one of the bigger names in the industrial scene has released a new album recently, and this is the opening track.

Quite haunting and disturbing as you would except, this track is devoid of any rhythm. Occasional strings and a dominant eastern vibe took me to the slave markets of the past, and what better way to complete it with a strange old vocal sample from a possible Turkish folk song.

Suitable for the soundtrack of an evil Arabian nights, with djinns and efreets and all that!.
