I really think there’s a correlation between the coolness of a band name and the coolness of the music they do.. I’ve been intrigued many times by the name of a band or person, and tried to find out if they sound as good as their name..

And most of the time, i’ve not been disappointed.

Yesterday I saw a band named
“Stop coming to my house Prom Queen” and I thought
“Hey why don’t I make a post about weird&cool band names”, and ended up doing this.
So feel free to comment if you wanna add some weird named and cool band/groups, in fact PLEASE do so. :)

6. brothers of the occult sisterhood – the occult sisterhood?
7. my americas watching tigers die is a great newschool hardcore band, but what tigers???
8. deerhoof – deerhoof my love!
9. get cape, wear cape, fly – this one is an instant fav. I wonder if that line is from an original text adventure.. laptop based melodic electronica with vocals.
10. 7 year rabbit cycle – noise rock from ex-deerhoof members ..
