Bus featuring Earl 16 - Simple Way

(from the 2004 compilation named Hitek by Meteosound)

I wouldn’t hide I’m a big fan of ~Scape records, the sound of Pole and Jan Jelinek, the mature and refined sound of Berlin. I remember when I first listened to the first Farben EPs by Jelinek in 2000 and the Loop-Finding-Jazz-Records album next year, they have been truly inspirational and really opened my ears (and yours maybe?) to all kinds of beautiful music. The people behind Bus is Daniel Meteo and Tom Thiel, two musicians from Berlin and their dub inspired electronic music surely has the Berlin aesthetics written all over it. This song is from an 2004 compilation on Meteosound, their own label. Sweet vocals by Leftfield’s Earl 16. Definitely a must.
