i had some netlabel stuff i wanted to mention in the past days, but i couldn’t find the time to do it.. (doesn’t time seem to fly by?)

the first one is an ep by starfros.ch collective on RealAudio , it’s mellow, guitar based pop with vocals, an answer to US urban pop music from switzerland. it kinda sounds like morcheeba meets IDM to me in some parts. First track to preview should be #2 don’t stop if you like dreamy hiphopish sounds, or #4 star guitar if you wanna hear some great jazzy

#2 is Stephane Obadia as Rob Steady on 12 Rec apparently he is a cool dude from France (but living in Stockholm as i interpreted from the website . – ha! ) He has been involved with different media all the while and this album is an interesting cut-up experience that intrigued me a lot at the first listen. After some listens, yes, this album has some brilliant moments. His beats are incredible and the album is very humorous, i am really looking forward to more releases from him. It is probably far out there for many listeners, but if shifting time signatures, sweet childish melodies, very complex arrangements or oddity is your thing, and you like music that changes every 30 seconds like hyperactive kids (which i love!) or ends abruptly you’ll love this album!!!
